Redmi note series is the best budget smartphone series in India. Redmi has launched its redmi note 9 pro and pro max variants in India, but still did not launch Redmi note 9. Its launched in many other countries, so we know most of its specs.

It has a 6.53 inches (16.59 cm) IPS LCD display with a Full HD+ resolution. It has a aspect ratio of 19.5:9 with a punch hole display and pixel density of 395ppi which seems good at its price range.

Performance

It packs in one of the most powerful processor at its price range, MediaTek Helio G85. Its a octa core processor clocked at 2GHz. It handles all basic tasks like browsing social media and other stuffs. It also handles gaming very well. So you can expect very good performance from it.

Camera

The device packs a 48+8+2+2 quad camera setup with 48mp primary camera. Camera performance of the device is decent at this price range.

Battery

The device packs a 5020mah large battery with 22.5W charger in the box, but the device supports only 18w charger which charges the device decently fast.

Software

The device runs on MIUI 11 on top of Android 9. Though its about 6 months for Android 10, the brand is still launching phones with Android 9. It is supposed to get MIUI 12 pretty soon.

Conclusion

The phone seems to be pretty good with a lot of features in it. Lets wait for the price in India. Since its competitor, Realme Narzo 10 has a disadvantage of having a lower resolution display(HD+), if the phone is prized around 12k, it may be the best phone in its prize.
