Samsung’s Exynos chipsets

Exynos processors are developed and manufactured by Samsung. They use these Exynos chipset in most of their phone. These processors are good in terms of GPU, but are very weak in terms of CPU compared to there competitors.

Samsung don’t update there processors regularly with the latest technology and use there old Exynos chipsets for a long duration, which makes them feel weak compared to there competitors.

Samsung use these chipset in their phones to save some money rather than paying other companies for chipsets and even to grow their processor manufacturing business. It looks like a smart move from samsung.

But, the users feel that other processors of the brand’s like qualcomm (Snapdragon) perform better at the same price. So many users are diverting towards other smartphone brands. But some Samsung fans are trying to file petitions to stop Samsung from using Exynos chipsets.

For example, the brand new Samsung’s flagships, Samsung galaxy S20 series launched with Exynos processors in India, but launched with Snapdragon’s more powerful flagship processor in US and other countries. Which was a kind of a downgrade to many users. So we expect Samsung to launch new phones with other powerful processors or improve and develop their processors and make them comparitively powerful in the industry.
