Motorola has launched its flagship smartphone after a very long time. It packs in some of the latest trends. Lets see how it performs against many other powerful flagships in the market.
• Performance
It packs in a flagship Snapdragon 865 processor, which is the best processor you can get for android. So there will be no lag issues if the OS is optimised properly.
• Design & Display

In terms of design, this device has made some things good and some other things bad. The device has a aspect ratio of 21:9 which makes the device look more stylish and its very narrower. but it’s very bulky compared to its competition. It makes uncomfortable to hold the device. But it’s one of the rare flagships with a headphone jack. In terms of display, the device has a 6.7″ 90° curved display with refresh rate of 90Hz with HDR10+ which is a great thing.
• Camera

It has a quad camera setup with Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright HMX 108 MP primary camera which is one of the best camera sensors you can get, and 16MP ultra-wide camera and 8MP telephoto camera and a time-of-flight sensor for depth sensing. Its very capable in terms of hardware, but is very week in terms of software. The camera becomes very week when compared to it’s competition.
• Battery
It packs a massive 5000 mah battery, this the reason why the phone looks bulkier. Its one of the largest amount of battery you can find on a flagship device. But the device disappoints in terms of charging. It has a 18W charger in the box , even when a lot of budget phones give 30W fast charger. The device even supports 15W wireless fast charging, which is pretty good.
• Price
In India, motorola brings only one version,12GB + 256GB, and its priced at 75k, which feels very high for a smartphone with so many compromises.

Our opinion
Motorola Edge + is very good device, but if you are the person who needs a slim smartphone with fast charging and good cameras, then this smartphone is not for you. But if you need a gorgeous and extremely curved display with a large battery and a headphone jack in a flagship, then you may like this smartphone. But in terms of value for money, this device does not provide enough features for your money.
