Samsung galaxy M31s

Samsung has been teasing the M31s from a quite time now. Samsung’s M series has been one of the successful series of samsung at this price range. Lets see what specs does the device bring.

• Design

Samsung has refreshed the design in M series and brought a modern infinity-o display in M31s. The device has very minimal bezels and gives a immersive experience. Its back looks premium with glastic back and gradient design. The has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which should be fast.

• Display

The device has a 6.5″ FullHD+ Super Amoled display, which is very rear at this price point. Usually Samsung’s displays look gorgeous and should be same in this device. As it has a infinity-o display, the display should be gorgeous giving immersive experience.

• Camera

It has a 64MP+8MP+5MP+5MP camera setup, in which the main camera sensor is 64MP sony IMX 682 sensor, which is really superb. It also has a ultra-wide angle camera and a macro camera coupling with a depth sensor. With combination with this good hardware and Samsung’s good software can give you a good camera experience. At front, it had a 32MP camera setup.

• Performance

The device disappoints in terms of performance. It has the same old Samsung’s Exynos 9611. Its a decent processor for its price, but cannot compete with other smartphones which has better processor’s. The device can handle all basic tasks and give you good gaming experience, but you cant expect extraordinary performance from it.

• Battery & charging

Battery is the catagory where M series always shines. M31 had a 6000 mah battery, which was really huge. M31s continues the postive sign, by having the same 6000 mah battery which can give you two days of battery life with casual usage. This time it has a quick 25W charger in the box which can charge the complete 6000mah battery in just 91 min from 0 – 100%, which is pretty good.

• Price

The device has two varients, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB which is priced at 19.5k and 21.5k respectively.

Our opinion

The device is actually priced good for their storage varients, but the main disappointing thing here is the processor. If you dont game seriously, then then device can be a very good choice. This device is the best non-chinese phone at this price range. You can get the Samsung A51 which starts at 25k if you need some extra features like in-display fingerprint scanner and other premium features.
