Redmi brought back their Prime series by launching Redmi 9 Prime. Lets see what specs does the device bring with it.
• Performance

It packs MediaTek Helio G80, which is one of the best processor you can get at this price range. MediaTek’s G series is a gaming centric processor, so it can handle powerful games like Pubg and COD pretty well.
• Display

It has 6.53″ FullHD+ IPS display, which is good, because many manufacturers are giving HD display at this price point, so it can be a game changer for many users. It also has Gorilla Glass protection at the front to protect the display, but Xiaomi did not mention which version of protection they used.
• Battery & charging

The device packs 5020 mah battery, same as Redmi Note 9 series. It can last over a day for even casual user. It has 18W fast charging support, but comes with just 10W charger in the box.
• Camera

It has a standard 13MP main camera with ultra-wide, macro and depth sensor’s. At front, it has 8MP selfie shooter. Its a standard quad camera setup which can be found under 10k. It can do the job for a casual photographer, but cant expect much about the camera in this device here.
• Price

The device has two varients, 4+64 and 4+128 priced at 10k and 12k respectively. The base varient is a good value for money compared to the higher varient.
Our opinion

This device has the best performance in this price range, but it also has some compromises like build quality, camera’s and not getting fast charging in the box. If you can bypass these, then this can be a good option at this price range.
