Samsung’s Note series is the best series of samsung smartphone lineup and they built it with the best things they have. They launched their Note 20 series in the unpacked event that was held earlier. They came up with one of the best specs possible. Lets see what are the specs of the device.

• Display

The display packed on Note 20 Ultra is the best display you can find on a smartphone till now. It has 6.9-inch Quad-HD+ AMOLED 2X curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a small punch hole at the top center and the display is almost bezel less. In terms of protection, this is the first phone to come with the latest Gorilla glass 7 (victus) and thats really great. It also has many display related dedicated features.

• Performance

Samsung packs Snapdragon 865+ processor in many regions and pack Exynos 990 in countries like UK and India, which is really disappointing. But both chipsets are flagship level chipsets and can run almost any task you throw on it. Both versions of smartphones comes with 5G, which is great.

• Camera

Samsung has done a really good job in terms of camera. It has 108MP + 12MP + 12MP camera setup. 108MP sensor is the main camera sensor and it has 12MP ultra-wide and 12MP Periscope camera which helps in capturing upto 50x digital zoom. It also have a lime of light sensor which helps to focus faster and it also brings some cool features to camera. It has a 10MP selfie camera, here samsung does really good with a good software implementation in post processing.

• Battery

It has a 4500 mah battery which could last quite well according to Note series track record. It also have 45W fast charging which can charge 50% of the battery in just 30 min, which is great.

• Price

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with 12GB + 256GB storage at a price of 1,04,999 in India. The lower version has a lot of difference from the ultra in terms of display, camera and build and even many other features and even it does not come with 5G but starts at 77,999 for 8GB + 256GB varient.

Our opinion

The device is pretty good in every aspect, but it would have been better if these smartphones came with Snapdragon 865+ chipset in India as well. It has almost one of the best specs and can almost be a perfect smartphone. It also has S-pen which has a lot of features and can be really helpful and handy. But the price here is a little more, when compared to the competition in India. Samsung launched the Note 20 ultra at even lower price than the price at which they launched S20 ultra in many countries, but priced it higher in India. If S-pen is important to you and if you need a non-chinese smartphone, then this can be a good choice especially for business officials.
