Color OS 11

Oppo launched their next generation software, color OS 11 based on Android 11. Last generation, color OS 7 was a huge upgrade and they have gone further by adding many other features. But in naming the software skin, they have skipped color OS 8,9,10. Maybe its to match the android version. Lets see what new cool features color OS 11 brings.

It has some cool features to create our own dark always-on-display theme and they have added a lot of cool new wallpapers, ringtones.

They have made the animations and software experience smoother to give good experience. They have added some cool features like floating window, its called flexdrop and the size is customisable and can be made as a mini floating window.

It also has a different dark modes. We can adjust different tones of darkness which is pretty cool. We also get option to adjust wallpapers and icons to dark mode.

Lot of companies have started including ultra battery saver modes in their UI and now oppo also brings it to color OS 11, which is pretty handy when battery goes down.

They have brought this cool feature called 3-Finger translate in integration with google lens. Now users can use this feature to take screenshot and google lens will scan the text or other stuff found on screen and then shows you the results.

Now with oppo relax 2.0, users can create their own white noise and experience it.

So if you are using a Oppo device, then color OS 11 based on Android 11 brings some cool features. But some features like amoled display and some other features are limited to phones with amoled screens. Hope oppo rolls out color OS 11 to many phones soon.
