The device is exactly same as the Redmi Note 9 pro 5G which was launched in china, they just changed the branding to Mi. The display of the device is good with higher refresh rate, but we definitely miss Amoled display. The processor is also super capable and its one of the best processor you can get at this price as of now. Mi introduced 108MP camera to the mid range from this device, which is super cool. 108MP camera get good bokeh shots without portrait mode, it also has some cons like it is difficult to capture documents properly from the device. It blurs off the edges, which is a really a big con for those who scan or capture a lot of documents. In terms of camera, remaining camera’s are average.

The battery capacity is good and 33W charger can help charge the battery faster. The main problem in the device is the software. Mi is making MIUI more bulkier and now its become a too heavy skin, many would not like it. So check out if you like the software before buying the device, its really a important thing. The pricing of the smartphone was decent, and we did actually expect it to be priced lesser than this, but even at this price if you are okay with Mi, then it can be a good device. If you can wait for a month, there a lot of good phones launching, we would suggest you to wait. We expect Realme X7 series to perform better and even poco is giving hint to launch poco f2. Finally its your money, so you can buy which device you like.
