Poco M2 pro

Poco had a good brand value after its first device, Poco F1. But after releasing their second device Poco X2, their brand value came down a bit due to re-branding. Now Poco launched their third smartphone and that’s almost same as Redmi note 9 pro max with just little change in design and camera. Lets see the specs of the Poco M2 pro.

Design & Display

It has a glossy glass sandwich design with camera module at the top center. It looks good and its just 8.8 mm thick packing a huge battery. In terms of display, it has a 6.7″ FHD+ LCD display with a 20:9 cinematic ratio, with a small notch at the top center. But it does not come with any higher refresh rate.

Performance

It packs in the Snapdragon’s powerful mid-range processor, Snapdragon 720G. Its a gaming centric processor and can handle most of the tasks easily and its one of the best processor you can get in this price range.

Camera

It has a 48MP+8MP+5MP+2MP camera setup. It has a lot of cool camera features which would not disappoint you regarding the cameras for sure.

Battery

It’s the category where the device shines. It pack a huge 5000mah battery, which can last you a full day and it also has a 33W fast charger in the box. This is one of the fastest charging technology you can find at this price. There are very less devices in this category which balances both battery and charging. So it makes a very powerful combination.

Price

Poco is known for a very aggressive pricing. Even if their devices are re-branded, they price it very aggressively, which other brands cannot match. Here, Poco M2 pro has 3 variants 4GB+64GB , 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB priced at 14k, 15k and 17k respectively.

Our Opinion

This device provides the best value foroney. It can also be the best smartphone for its price. But due to recent chinese activities, many people are avoiding chinese products. But Poco India said that this device is 100% Made In India, even then if you don’t need chinese products, you can skip this. But if you are ok with poco, then this can be the best device for you at this price point which has the best price to spec ratio.
